NotesNews : The Queen was forced to flee Buckingham palace after deadly Legionnaires disease was found in the water supply, The Sun can reveal today. Her Majesty moved 25 miles away to Windsor Castle amid a 'huge panic' sparked by the discovery of the bug. Health experts were sent in to tackle the killer bacteria - found lurking in the pipework to the Queen's own shower and bathrooms. They ordered the 320-year old Palace's entire hot water system to be turned up to a scalding 70 degrees celsius and disinfected. [John Kay, The Sun, 4th December 1998]
