NotesArtwork not dated News : There would be no hesitation in ordering air strikes if Serb armed forces failed to comply with the UN and Nato resolutions to withdraw from Gorazdo, Douglas Hurd told the Commons yesterday. The Foreign Secretary hoped air strikes would not be neccesary but if Nato and the UN judged they were, "then no-one should douby that they will be undertaken" he siais. With MP's on all sides concerned about co-ordination between UN negotiators and Nato military commanders, Mr Hurd siad, "Either can propose air strikes, both have to agree."
