News: 2 May: Mr Roy Mason, a Labour frontbench spokesman, tabled 18 question for answer by Mr Davies, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. He sought answers to why an order was placed for six Concordes although there was no evidence that the aircraft would have landing right anywhere except London. He asked what Anglo-French sales drive was planned; and sought to confirm that the project's total cost was now £1,000m.
