Members of both the official and provisional wings of the IRA addressed the demonstration. In Whitehall, Miss Bernadette Devlin, told the demonstrators that they were "living proof that the working people of Britain and Ireland did not support internment". News: 2 Nov: Intensive security precautions are being taken at the Houses of Parliament today after two bomb explosions in London in less than 24 hours.
