NotesMarch 5: ... Western Front: A very heavy concentrated night attack was made on Essen by
the R.A.F., Polish crews participating. In 40 minutes 150 4,000 lb. bombs and a great
weight of incendiaries were dropped and immense fires left; one very violent explosion sent
up a sheet of flame 1,000 ft. high; 14 bombers lost. Berlin admitted much damage "in

He wanted to establish a New Order of absolute rule in Europe and pursued a policy of seizing land by force for the Aryan people.
