NotesNews: 18 June: The film "Yesterday's Men" was shown on the BBC television programme "24 Hours" despite Mr Wilson's threat to institute legal proceedings. A passage on how much Mr Wilson earned from his memoirs was deleted after pressure from the Opposition leader. Mr Wilson considered that the passage broke an assurance from the BBC that the programme would not discuss his earnings.
