NotesNews: 22 February: 100,000 marched in protest against the trade unions Bill. Postal workers handed out printed postcard addressed to Mr Heath. The message read: "Post Office workers having a raw time - wish you were fair." Mr Scanlon spoke of the trade union movement using its full industrial strength to oppose the Industrial Relations Bill. Mr Jones also spoke at the demonstration.
