was caused in Bulgaria and other Balkan countries when Prof. Bogdan Filoff, the Premier, visited
Vienna on Jan. 6-7. On his return to Sofia on the latter date, however, Prof. Filoff
categorically denied reports that he had seen Ribbentrop and said that his visit had only been
made for medical consultations and that he had not been authorised to meet any German
representatives.... Reports of German troops having arrived in Bulgaria, denied in Sofia, led to
an indication of the Russian attitude ... [p.4409]

He gained support for his views on German nationalism, anti-Semitism, anti-capitalism and anti-communism through his impassioned speeches and propaganda. He wanted to establish a New Order of absolute rule in Europe and pursued a policy of seizing land by force for the Aryan people.
