Embedded text or transcriptMessage to the nation and particularly to those correspondents who object to the
tone of Low's catoons. Fellow citizens !! This crisis has arisen mainly because of the
sycophantic cartooning of the past Rt. Hon. Flimsy MacLow demands a free hand and a doctor's
mandate to cure the situation. He therefore disassociates himself completely from all parties
(including the Kid Lewis party) and newspapers. Don't blame him for what may happen. It may be
necessary to use drastic measures which will affect the proprietor and editor of this very
journal. Low will not falter. Public leg Free Hands "Pull Together" Rt Hon R.MacDonald Secretary
for Dramatic Art Rt. Hon. Lord Beaverbrook, Emperor Rt. Hon. A. Henderson Office Boy for the
T.U.C. Rt Hon J Thomas, Firsl Lord of Boiled Shirts Rt. Hon. Mussolini Secretary for what's left
over Rt. Hon. S. Baldwin Secretary for American Debt. Rt. Hon Lloyd George Chancellor of Cash

policy. Public confidence must not be imperilled. But you can depend upon him to protect the Gold
Standard (now don't tell me we've slipped off the Gold Standard. I just won't believe it.) Yep!
I'll accept a peerage
