NotesNews: aug. 6. Berlin. The trial opens of alleged anti-Hitler bomb plotters. Aug. 8. After a two-day trial by the notorious People's Court, a field marshal, four generals and three other officers were today sentenced to death for their part in the July plot against Hitler. He wanted to establish a New Order of absolute rule in Europe and pursued a policy of seizing land by force for the Aryan people.
