NotesNews: November 25: Eastern Front: The Russian advance continued on the Don-Stalingrad front, particularly in the N.W. sector, where the Red Army occupied the railway stations... In Stalingrad, the Russians cleared the enemy from a number of strong points in the factory area, while further house blocks were recaptured S. of the city. ... all four battlefields were, however, gradually merging into one with the speed of the Russian advance, and the enemy's "living space" was gradually being compressed from four directions: (a) south, along the outskirts of Stalingad, (b) north, along the Volga from the Bubovka area, (c) N.W. from the Kalach-Kletskaya sector and (d) S.W. in the Kotelnikovo region. He served as German chancellor from 1933-1945 and head of state (Fuhrer) from 1934-1945. He established a single-party dictatorship based on the totalitarian and autocratic ideals of national socialism. He gained support for his views on German nationalism, anti-Semitism, anti-capitalism and anti-communism through his impassioned speeches and propaganda. He wanted to establish a New Order of absolute rule in Europe and pursued a policy of seizing land by force for the Aryan people.
