Reconnaissances over Germany. The first German air attack on British territory was made on Oct. 16 In the morning of that day several German aircraft reconnoitred over the Firth of Forth, and in the afternoon a series of bombimg raids was made by from twelve to fourteen enemy machines, which attempted to bomb British warships at Rosyth. ...
