Embedded text or transcriptMeantime Professor Haldane has borrowed Low's A.R.P. goat Adolf and will risk severe tests to ascertain definitely how long life can continue in an English summer
INSKIP has set sail for Newfoundland, which means goodbye for ever. No tasty morsel like Inskip could expect to leave a place like that alive. (Low knows all about Newfoundland from Lord Beaverbrook.)
Mr. C. and Colonel B. are using the holiday to train for the War (no petty dispute concerning Hit and Muss the REALLY IMPORTANT War with the Labour Party.)
Mr. De Valera, of course, is staying at home this year. Got relatives coming to stay, poor chap.
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Unfortunately the rest of the Govt. and the Tory Central Office can take no holiday. They have to help the Minister of Agriculture to sit up with a sick cow (inferiority complex) at Brecon.
