NotesNotes: Chamberlain brought back home from Munich a paper signed by Hitler and himself affirming "the desire of our two people never to go to war with one another again. We are resolved that consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with questions that may concern our two countries..." This, he said, meant "Peace in our Time."
