NotesNotes : Low's real target is not Hitler but the cowardice of League members who funked their collective duty to discipline him. Glimpsed at the windows are Mussolini (at this stage held to have some restraining influence over Hitler), Simon and Daladier. The weapon of economic sanctions is available but unused. The swastika, later to become a knee-jerk hate symbol, is drawn back to front. [Taken from p.91 of David Low,by Colin Seymour-Ure and Jim Schoff, Secker & Warburg, 1985.]
