Implied textSepahbod Haj Ali Razmara was a military leader and became Prime Minister in 1950. He was assassinated by 26 year-old Khalil Tahmassebi of the Fadayan-e Islam organization with 3 bullets in Tehran at the age of 49.
NotesNews: 15 Aug: "The Persian Cabinet met to consider the proposals for a settlement of the oil dispute which were presented by Mr Stokes, leader of the British delegation. After the meeing the Prime Minister's assistant said Mr Stokes had offered to make further explanation to the Cabinet of his suggestions. The Cabinet considered this unnecessary. Hints were being put about by Persians that they themselves may make counter-proposals more in accordance with their idea of what nationalization means.
