Notes"Footnote to the above from Buenos Aires last night: President Peron has been recommended for the Nobel Peace Prize because of his "justicialist principles" and principle of "spiritual disarmament." The man who made the suggestion: A Peron deputy, Virgilio Filippo. Virgilio cited the president's efforts for social security, his "magnificent appeal for peace, and the announcment he has just made of his principle of spiritual disarmament, in declaring that atomic energy be obtained by Argentine methods will be employed for peaceful pursuits."
