News: 22 Apr: Figures for GDP growth threatened to push Britain into a tripledip recession. The Chancellor received warnings from the IMF for his austerity measures, and the Fitch ratings agency stripped the UK of its triple-A credit rating echoing a similar downgrade by Moody's. Sir Jeremy Heywood was reported as suggesting to leading bankers that there is a lack of a co-ordinated message at the top of government on how best to reignite the economy.
