Notes | News: 24 May: Mr Peter Kavanagh, a steel fixer, spent a second night in a crane 100ft above a Holborn building site. He said he would stay there until he got his job back. Workers on the site had been protesting about the employment of non-union labour but the builders, Y.J. Lovell denied this. |
