News: 21 Apr: The Apollo 16 astronauts touched down on the moon. Their landing had been delayed for almost six hours by a faulty control system in their command ship Casper. Captain John Young and Lieutenant Colonel Charles Duke made man's fifth moon landing in their landing craft Orion in the plains of Cayley in the Descartes crater region of the lunar highlands.
