NotesNews: 3 Apr: Women supporters of the Provisional IRA broke up a meeting of women in the Andersonstown area of Belfast. Posters saying "No sell-out to Heath" and "We support the Provos" were displayed. Mrs Maire Drumm, a leading speaker for the Provisional's cause, conducted a group of youths in a republican song. She told the crowd of women that she was 100 per cent behind the Irish Republican Army. [The Times]
