NotesNews: 20 January: The financial affairs of the Beatles partnership, whose estimated annual earning were between £4m. and £5m. were in a grave state, counsel said in the High Court. The hearing arose from a writ issued by Paul McCartney seeking dissolution of "The Beatles and Co." formed in 1967 in which he, John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Apple Corps Ltd were partners.
