NotesNews: 25 June: Disciplinary action was to be taken against students who demonstrated in the nude at Keele University. The University believed that Keele was a scapegoat for the frustrations of militant students angered by the war in Vietnam and other areas. News: 25 June: Sir Alec Douglas-Home arranged to see Dr Muller who is expected to request a resumption of arms sales. The Government's attitude to arms sales to South Africa was to draw a distinction between arms for external defence and those required for internal suppression. South Africa seemed assured of receiving the aircraft, ammunition and naval equipment which it required as well as being given co-operation over the use of the Simonstown base
